Getting Out of Your Own Way

It is amazing how often we can get in our own way without even being aware we’re doing so. Even though we truly want to succeed, there are many reasons why we may sometimes unintentionally block our own efforts.

It may be that we are afraid to succeed and we don’t realize this—so we subconsciously create circumstances to keep ourselves stuck. We may even approach our goals in a way that keeps creating the same unsuccessful results.

When you find yourself facing obstacles that block you from your goals, it is important to not to get discouraged.

It can be easy to feel life is creating circumstances to block us, but sometimes the best course of action is to take a look inside of ourselves first.

If you believe that you’ve been standing in your own way, you may want to take a piece of paper and record how you’ve done so far; write down the choices you’ve made that have hindered your efforts.

Consider what fears you’re holding to that may be keeping you from your goals and take notes of any thoughts and feelings that arise.

With this new found information, you can let yourself start with a clean slate.

Doubts and fears are natural, but with new awareness you should be able to prevent yourself from unwittingly thwarting yourself by putting sticks into your own spokes!

Keep clear focus in front of you every day and visualize your positive outcomes.

Put into action what is possible and then allow time to use “holographic images” during meditations to expand and charge your vision.

What would it feel like reaching your goals? How would you handle your finances? What time would you set aside for enjoyable activities? What knew goals would you create?

You can take your power back by putting strong intentions behind the images and feelings you have while you projected them with an active prayer.

An active prayer comes from deep inside of you. It is a “knowing” that God and all your angels can hear your prayers.

I am asking you to remember that your thoughts and feelings are energy. Energy follows in the direction that you have reinforced, whether positive or negative, like water it runs along the path you have prepared for it.

Emotions Are Your Guides

Learning to trust your feelings is called, “Clairsentience.”

Clairsentience is the reception of Divine guidance through physical feelings and emotions.

Listed below are steps to assist trusting in your Clairsentience:

• Review past occasions in which you were glad you followed your intuition.

• What were occasions when you were sorry you didn’t?

• You can mentally “try on” a situation so as to feel what it would be like to follow your intuition and to know if you would enjoy the outcome.

• Where in your body do you feel discordant energies?

• Give possibility that you body organs can converse with you!

• What would each organ want to communicate? Record this exchange in a journal.

• Mentally ask God and the angels to help you release any blocks that keep you from faith and clear your feelings.

• Surrender all fearful thoughts and energies to the Divine spiritual realm.

• Heaven wants to help you clear away the effects of fears from the lower-self, and it calls upon love to come close around you.

The process of listening to “feelings” helps us to own our feelings and heal them ourselves instead of projecting them onto other people.

You can use the vocabulary below to decipher the intuitive guidance that comes to you.

Whenever you feel a strong emotional or physical feeling, remember that it is a message to you. Your task is to open the door and listen to the feelings.

How are you feeling right now? Circle all that apply:

Adorable, Comfortable Giggly, Overwhelmed,Afraid, Concerned, Grief-stricken, Passionate, Amorous, Confident, Guarded, Peaceful,Amused, Criticized, Happy, Pleased, Angelic, Crushed, Hesitant, Polite, Angry, Quiet, Annoyed, Daring, Ready, Anxious, Delighted, Interested, Relaxed, Apathetic, Demoralized, Irritable, Respectful, Appreciative, Disappointed, Jealous, Restless Apprehensive Eager, Joyful Romantic Attractive, Ecstatic, Kind Sensible Beautiful Edgy, Lighthearted, Sentimental, Betrayed, Loving, Serene, Blaming, Emotional, Loyal, Serious Blessed Embarrassed, Moody, Entertained, Shocked, Bold Mysterious, Bored, Excited, Odd, Stressed, Calm, Explosive, Opinionated, Carefree, Fearful, Optimistic, Tense, Fearless, Ugly, Offended, Upset, Open, Cheerful

One way to do this is by asking the feeling, “What are you trying to tell me?”

My happiness depends on me.

Decisions Made on Assumptions

Don Miguel, who wrote the book, The Four Agreements said, “The problem with making assumptions is that we believe they are the truth. We would swear they are real!” We make an assumption, we misunderstand, we take it personally, and we end up creating a drama for nothing.”

We base personal and business decisions on assumptions all the time. Example: Wall Street and the entire banking environment are based on assumptions from tips and rumors. Example: We go about our daily business assuming government does not have to be watched.

Panic is currently spreading throughout the land because assumptions are being made about the state of our economy. We are being told the problem is a recession. Should we assume this is truth or should we gut sense otherwise? Should we gather our own information from varied sources by which to draw conclusions?

It may be time to examine the roots of assumptions more closely, so we can know when we are basing our choices on cultural consensus, a single source of information, or know to look for other possibilities. Our intuition or gut sense, may be saying otherwise. We would be wise to listen to the deeper thoughts and feelings and create an opening for higher understanding.

It is time to examine the roots of assumptions more closely, so we may better understand our power to make a difference personally and contribute positively to the cultural consciousness. All assumptions are based on past experiences in combination with current information input. We take meaning from people’s personalities, clothes, words, jobs, ethnicities, and gender. These meanings are based on prior assessments, assumptions you’ve been making since birth.

According to your past experiences, do you tend to trust people in authority?

In the 60’s there were incredible experiment testing shock treatments and people in authority created great harm and suffering. (See the Milgram experiments, 1961)

Another dramatic example of assumptions gone badly is War. Wars can start based mostly on assumptions. People have been marched off to war not knowing the truth as to what was the political agenda behind the conflict. Hindsight shows that the population was kept in the dark and manipulations were put into action through very clever means.

Assumptions are reactive and unconscious. We often do not know when we make them or from where they originally came. If we are unaware we are making an assumption then we don’t question it. Assumptions, therefore, do not have to make sense in order for us to believe they are true because they are subconscious and automatic.

Have we subconsciously agreed that it is not safe to ask questions? I believe this is so. Most of the time we assume, without thinking of the power that we are handing over to others and how it will affect our own lives and careers.

Assumptions underlie beliefs and ideas, and these feed our assumptions. This is a closed circle until you re-examine underlying assumptive beliefs!
We assume others think the way we think, feel the way we feel, judge the way we judge. This is the biggest assumption we make.

It may be the reason we fear being ourselves around others. We think others will judge us, victimize, ridicule us, blame us---this is how the mind worked in the past but now there is a method to shift those perceptions.

Take a notebook; write out your assumptions with openness and honesty. You may shiver over some of the things you’ve assumed to be a truth and which turn out to not be true at all. Clearing your mind of this clutter of “non-realities” permits you to live intentionally, participating fully, without fear of being yourself.

A conscious life is a life of freedom and amazing creativity; the more questions we ask while listening to others, the better off we’ll be.

Can the world of fairytales and ideals still exist in the “real world” where money and jobs and bush fires, the economy, love, fear feelings, and dreams exist, too?

Can the law of attraction, trusting in the unknown and manifesting all you need truly exist outside the pages of self-help books, workshops and vision boards? Can these things become a part of our daily life?

A lot of people are asking these questions now! And now seems to be the best time to take advantage of regaining the control lost by living under old assumptions.

We are in such an intense time with two extremes of realities overlapping. On the one hand the weather has gone completely crazy. To those observing with only their 3D eyes it would seem that the world is on the brink of something very unpleasant.

On the other hand, we have never before (in our lifetime) been exposed to so much information that insists we are the creators of our reality. We have been given the choice, the power, to decide our future direction on personal levels and the world. Total empowerment is butting heads with total helplessness. Isn’t this an interesting cross-road observation!

To those observing with multi-dimensional eyes, it would seem that the world is on the brink of “transformation. We are experiencing a death and birth all at the same time and these “energy signature’s are playing out on our body.

The spiritual keys to this transformation have to lie in the merging of our two realities. We can no longer live in the old 3D world.

Our economic foundation turns out to have rotting floorboards. Mother Earth is sick and tired of our abuse of her body. Unplugged from our “Source Energy,” we cannot continue in any healthy way.

Walk you talk. Believe in what you believe, not as theory, but as truths that you live by. The Higher Energies are present but we are the ones that have to let then in, and we are the ones that keep them out. To be more accurate, we are either facing “Source” or turning away from source.

Our assumptions, fears and worry feed “the blockage” to the “Source Energies.” It would be like cutting yourself off from desire, and it’s hard to breathe. Yet, if you refuse the thoughts of lack and limitations, if you believe that YES there is enough in the higher energies for you and all of mankind, then straight away, you are turned toward source to receive the blessings.

Breathe in and let the allowance of self-awareness and self-love be your guide.

Take a moment to literally feel the physical sensation of restriction in your body leave. Re-orient your compass toward “Source” and your higher energies by visualizing the eternal limitlessness in front of you, knowing there is enough of all you need, and you have the power to let it in.

A Cross Road Observation

Our economic foundation turns out to have rotting floorboards. Mother Earth is sick and tired of our abuse of her body. Unplugged from our “source energy,” we cannot continue in any healthy way. We need to walk our talk. Believe in what we believe, not as theory, but as truths that we live by.

Dissolving the Negative Emotional Charges!

It is habitual to resist experiencing things we see as negative, and such resistance causes a backlash of added emotional charges, carried in our subconscious.

Instead of resisting a negative event, if we fully and directly experience it as it happens, we would act as a “viewer and furnace” transforming events into an opportunity, choice or new awareness. Holding open the human viewer and furnace causes a movie of the event to be drawn across the heat of the consciousness. Thoughts and emotions can be freely poured over the event, fully transforming it into a more understandable, manageable matter.

When something has happened that you don’t like and you resist, feel angry or overwhelmed, stop yourself. Instead of justifying or rationalizing your emotions, or escaping, sit down and bring your full attention to the emotional charge.

Next, identify the emotional charge by color, the location in the body, and feel the heat of the emotions. Accept that God is in every situation, hold your attention on the emotional charges, and notice that they begin to dissolve.

You may ask, “God, what do you want me to know right now?”

What remain after this “discharge” of feelings may be answers and possibilities. At least, you will have pulled the “stinger” out of the negative emotions. It is also necessary when sitting and holding the emotional charge to invoke the Divine (in whatever form you prefer) to help you fully and completely dissolve the emotional charge.

Develop the habit of actually looking inside to observe what’s held in the conscious and subconscious mind. We have been accumulating these suppressed emotional charges all of our lives. We must peal back each layer and discover what is the “story” or non-reality to each situation. We must not be impelled to action without knowing the true why of it.

Do not be discouraged when your buttons are pushed once again and an emotional charge comes to the surface. See it as an opportunity to flush out the useless charges remaining from old illusions. You will be more focused to experience breaking old habits of justification and denial---this puts you in touch with a truer, braver you.

Emotions are just actions, and we are always behind the switchboard running the operations, whether we choose to realize it or not. So we want to get the wires all straight!

Do not let the sorrows of the world become a “pain body.” Experience living unconditionally and learn to live more in the present moment.

Surrender yourself to the Divine without any conditions and whatever comes then is without any confusion and question; you feel the joy making you whole again!

In the current times of great upheaval, unconscious insecurities of the collective are being flushed out---you are now being asked to experience a higher level of conscious knowing and spiritual direction.

If we clean out our inner-world, we will begin to reflect more of our “Spirit” to the outer-world; the outer-world then mirrors the peace and vibration of a heightened state of awareness.

Remember: Everything we experience is an opportunity and nothing that happens to us is insignificant!
